Early History

The story of JCB equipment began in 1945 when British businessman Joseph Cyril Bamford created a tipping trailer out of war surplus and parts from an air raid shelter using a welding set he bought secondhand. By 1948, the company had already grown to six employees and had begun manufacturing Europe's first tipping trailer. Subsequent decades would see the company massively expand its product lineup, as well as make many forays into the international market.
 

JCB Models

One of the best things about JCB equipment is the sheer breadth of the company’s product line. This gives customers a much wider range of options. If, for example, you want a skid steer, JCB produces both wheel and track-propelled skid steer models, allowing you to select whichever one better suits your needs. Another example is excavators.
